18 Years of Caring for Newborns and Moms.
Love Behind Everything I Create.
Meet Gabriella
I’m Gabriella, and I’m so happy you’re here. For more than 18 years, I’ve cared for newborns and supported moms as a Newborn Care Specialist and Postpartum Doula.
I know how overwhelming those early days and long nights can feel. Sometimes, a little practical help and a reassuring word can make all the difference. My hope is to help you feel understood and more confident as you get to know your baby.
Troubleshooting Moms brings that care to you through practical tips, gentle encouragement, and thoughtful products made with love—for your baby’s comfort and a little more ease in your day.
From the books I co-wrote to MiMiSwaddy
As a co-author of The Simplest Baby Book in the World and The Simplest Pregnancy Book in the World, I shared practical knowledge from my work caring for newborns and supporting families.
Creating MiMiSwaddy grew from that same work—and my love for it. Night after night, wrapping babies and helping with little diaper changes showed me where thoughtful details could make a difference.
I brought those everyday experiences into the design: one extra-long wrapping wing, room for little hips and legs to move, and a hidden zipper for diaper changes without undoing the wrap. Feedback from the families I worked with helped me refine those details.
MiMiSwaddy brings together what I’ve learned, the work I love, and the care I put into every baby I hold.
The little girl behind the name:
“Can I share a little story with you.
This is my great-niece, Mirabel. When she was little, she couldn’t say Mirabel yet, so she called herself Mimi. I thought it was the sweetest thing.
When I was choosing a name for my swaddle, I kept coming back to Mimi. It wasn’t just her little name—it was her, this sweet, loving little girl who means so much to me. And that’s how MiMiSwaddy got its name.”
